THE MUSIC BEHIND SPIKEY'S BOUNCE
For those asking about the music used in the MASTER PIECE video trailer, it was originally written and performed by Andy for a theatre show he was involved with.
Entitled "Fabature", it was played as the lights dimmed and the curtain rose... metaphorically speaking, as there actually wasn't one... and was designed to get the audience's juices flowing with the promise of excitement ahead. So, highly appropriate that it's being used in these new circumstances, don't you think?

BRINGING THE GLIDER EPISODE TO LIFE
Renowned artist Terry Quirk contacted Andy to say he would like to illustrate a page of his Lockdown Diaries and requested he be sent the glider episode.
Andy has known Terry since he was a little boy. In fact... Terry once threatened to throw him over a bridge on to the M1 below when he was a child... just for fun. Terry says he doesn’t remember... But Andy does!
Terry was responsible for the iconic album cover for The Zombies “Odessey and Oracle” album, one of Rolling Stones top 100 albums. So Andy is EXTREMELY proud to be Terry Quirked... and has now forgiven him for the bridge episode.
THE SPANISH LOCKDOWN DIARIES
Having been confined to his apartment in Spain, due to the coronavirus situation, Andy has decided to keep up his spirits by writing about this experience in the form of a daily diary. He also hopes it will keep up other people's spirits, too.

It's that man again! Responding to the demand caused by his recent induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Chris White has released a second album of previously unreleased material: The Chris White Experience Volume 2.
Q: Why are you being told this?
A: Because Andy has two songs on the album, which he co-wrote with Chris.
"Don't Go Looking" featuring fellow Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Colin Blunstone, and "Eyes" sung by the extremely talented Bianca Kinane. For a totally immersive experience, why not listen to them whilst reading his book... though preferable not both songs at the same time.
20 YEARS of 50 YEARS = 40%
Having been their UK agent for 20 years, Andy was asked to contribute to a book produced to mark the 50th Anniversary of legendary band Wishbone Ash.
The book was presented to founder member Andy Powell at ASHCON 2019.
Curiously... it contains the phrase "f**k off".

GOD'S ART?
For those of you who have asked, this is the original - and remarkable - image of the Crab Nebula that is featured as a jigsaw on the cover of MASTER PIECE. It was produced by combining data from telescopes spanning nearly the entire electromagnetic spectrum, from radio waves to X-rays... (the original image, that is... not the jigsaw).

NEWS FROM A PARALLEL UNIVERSE
Having recently been inducted into the American Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Chris White of The Zombies has released the first in a series of albums containing previously unreleased songs.
The Chris White Experience Volume 1 includes "Taking the Wings from Butterflies", a song Andy wrote with Chris for the film The Krays, featuring Martin and Gary Kemp.
Featuring Colin Blunstone on vocals (with whom Andy wrote a second song for the soundtrack), the entire film soundtrack was changed just prior to its release, resulting in neither making the final edit! So it's nice to have one them finally aired after all these years!
BEING THE WOOD FROM THE TREES...
Artavia Publishing have confirmed that the paperback version of MASTER PIECE will only use papers that are natural, renewable and recyclable products and made from wood grown in sustainable forests.
At 400 pages for every single book that comes off the printing press, that is extremely welcome news!
(e-book versions will be available on all major platforms for those that don't like killing trees in the first place.)
